In mid-2019, Semann & Slattery sought out Motion Hub to film a conference, sparking a partnership that turned into a creative adventure. This is the story of two teams coming together, not just for business, but for the love of storytelling and innovation.
Over 150 Videos and Many Miles
From that first conference, the collaboration blossomed into over 150 videos, spanning various types and styles. The journey led us across state lines and into new creative territories, all marked by a shared enthusiasm and a knack for creating something special.
Inspire 2020 Melbourne: A Symphony of Stories and Success
One standout moment in our partnership with Semann & Slattery was their first major conference, Inspire 2020, held in Melbourne. Motion Hub was entrusted with creating videos that would resonate deeply with the audience.
The opening act was “Legacy: A Story of Women,” a poignant documentary capturing 20 influential women who have shaped early childhood. These remarkable stories were framed through the lens of renowned photographer Luke Stambouliah, painting a vivid portrait of empowerment and innovation.
Following that was a stirring documentary celebrating 20 years of Semann & Slattery. Crafted with heart and precision, this piece reached into the souls of those present, eliciting tears and warm applause from a moved crowd.
But the magic didn’t stop there. During the conference, our head of post-production, Jessica, went on an adrenaline-fueled sprint to create a speedy recap of the event.
Working tirelessly through the night, she crafted a video that played on the final day, capturing the essence and energy of Inspire 2020.
After the conference ended we created full length videos of all of the keynotes as well as this touching highlight recap capturing the hopes and dreams of the Inspire Conference.
